2nd Team Captain next season

This season will be my last as captain next season so I'm looking for someone to take over the reigns, start having a think about whether you want to get involved and I can then try and get people involved in running the side in the second half of the season. More than one person is need and tasks include -

1. Sending out details of the nest fixture, collecting responses, chasing players for response, picking and notifying people of the squad for the game. This needs to be done each week.

2. Organising the kit to be washed each week.

3. Keeping the website up to date including fixtures, results, table, match reports and news items.

4. Collecting membership money and membership forms from players.

5. Collecting match subs each week.

6. Paying for food and refs at home games and organising hospitality for refs and opposition.

7. Keeping club treasurer up to date with finances from the 2nds team.

8. Attending monthly club meetings to discuss finances, playing matters and anything else needed to keep the club running.

9. Captaining the side on a Saturday which means picking the team, making substitutions and trying to motivate everyone.

It sounds like a lot and I've probably missed some things off the list but whilst it's hard work it's worth it. These jobs can be split between more than person so have a think and let me know if you want to get more involved.
